Trixie: Well, my Gotcha Day was on Monday. Yep, that's right - August 11, 2006, was the day that Crazy Lady found me in the hot parking lot in the 'hood and brought me to my furr-ever home. C.L. doesn't know exactly when Thomas and Phoebe were born. And, their coming into the house to live was such a long drawn out event that took place over a period of months, there's no real Gotcha Day for them either. Therefore, we were going to celebrate all of them on August 11. However, this was such a sad week - we were grieving over Sprout and none of us really remembered to celebrate. It just wouldn't have been right some how. So, I think that Crazy Lady is going to do something really low key this weekend. Maybe we'll get a present or two, but no big blowout party. Next year, we'll celebrate in a big way and invite all y'all over to help.
In the meantime, let's keep lifting up Sprout and her family in our purrs and prayers.

HAPPY GOTCHA DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It is a neat idea to celebrate all 3 of you on the same day. You can really have wild parties then :)
I think you can celebrate. Maybe on Sunday, or during the week . I'm sure all the kitties will need a reason to smile after all the sadness this week.
Just an opportunity to bid our friends farewell and welcome new ones. It's all in the Circle of Life

Happy Gotcha Day! Even if you do not want a big celebration, you can still do something special to commemorate your day. Many hugs to you during this sad time.

There has been much sadness in this week, but there has been happiness too. Your Gotcha Day should be a day of happiness. Not every kitty or woofy gets to celebrate this because not all have a home.
A belated Happy Gotcha Day! and many more!
Happy Gotcha Day! It's good to see some good things this sad week. {{{hugs}}}
Happy Gotcha day to you as well~!
Happy gotcha day (a little late). Low key is OK so long as treats are involved.
