That looks like the perfect resting place...privacy and lots of cool stuff to explore. Maybe they need to put a little pet door in the cabinet so you can come and go as you please if they close the door on you again.
My sisfur Gracie likes to sleep in the bathroom cabinet. She thinks it's her private house.

You are very, very lucky. Mom always counts to 2, to make sure we're not in the cabinets or closets. Mom's no fun sometimes.

Do you like it best with the doors open or closed? I have learned to open all of the bi-fold closet doors in the house. I usually visit various closets throughout the day and leave them all open when I am done.
It takes a while to train the people, doesn't it? You must be patient. Eventually they will learn.
